This is the first card I've been able to make just for fun in ages!
For this one I followed the sketch on Friday Sketchers
This is my card
I love this scrummy Miss Anya stamp and she was the first image I coloured the day my brand new promarkers arrived!
Her skin looks like I didn't colour it at all, but it is just quite light.
The butterfly is from my local craft supplier and I think it's actually meant to be a christmas decoration as I had to remove a clip from the bottom. I bought loads of them so expect to see them again!!
The papers are Basic Grey from the Scarlet's letter pad.

This is another one I made a while ago. I made it for my granny who was in hospital at the time and was quite ill - thankfully she's home now and back to her normal self!
I used my yummy Magnolia stamp and coloured her with my promarkers
Papers are Basic Grey Wisteria. The sentiment was computer generated and the ribbon and charm are from my stash.

Ahoy there!

This is a card I made a while ago. I was asked to make a card for a boys 5th birthday so I tought I'd use my Pirate stamps from Sugar Nellie.
I coloured him with my promarkers and hughlighted the buckles etc with a gold Sakura metallic pen. I mounted him on a nestie circle with inverted scallops - I thought it looked a bit like a wheel on a ship.
I was able to use some papers that I've had for ages with maps on them so I destressed the edges and rolled them up to look like proper Pirate maps! I also made the sentiment on my computer and rolled it up to match the map.

Missed challenge no. 2!
Sunday, 27 September 2009
Here's another challenge that I missed - last weeks Crafts 4 Eternity sketch (again!!). I'm a bit useless really aren't I!
The card was for my sister and her husband for their 3rd wedding anniversary - and to be fair to myself, I was just in the middle of a really horrible flu which I'm just getting over now.
Here's the card
I used one of my Sharing Sherbet stamps from Pollycraft and coloured her with my promarkers.
The papers are Laundry Line from My minds Eye. The Sentiment was cut using my tab punch form Stampin' Up! and I also used one of the tab stamps too.
I didn't get a picture of the inside but it was fairly boring anyway!

I loved the sketch this fornight on Sketch and stash
So I thought I'd use it for a forum friends birthday card - and a big birthday it was too!!
Here's my card
My new stash is the gorgeous Miss Anya stamp and the blingy "50". My old stash is the Basic Grey Porcelain paper.
I coloured Miss Anya with my promarkers
And I made the flower with various punches and nesties.

Missed challenge no. 1
Friday, 25 September 2009
I was looking through my photo's of cards and realised that I had a few that I didn't get blogged in time to take part in their challenges.
This is the first one which was meant for the Crafts 4 eternity challenge a couple of weeks ago.
I had made it for a forum friend. The image is of course a Magnolia. The papers are from the Wild Asparagus set from My Mind's Eye.

Get well soon
Thursday, 24 September 2009
I had the need for 2 get well soon cards, with little time to make them so I decided to make them both the same. They were for my friend who recently had an operation and my mum who had lazer surgery on her eyes for the second time after the procedure didn't work properly the first time.
I followed the sketch at The Pink Elephant
And here is my card
The image is Magan from Whipper Snapper coloured with my promarkers
Papers are from the bloom and grow set from My Mind's Eye.
This is the inside
The first one has been delivered and hopefully the other one will be delivered tomorrow evening.
I hope you liked it - thanks for dropping by.

Happy 2nd Birthday Ryan!
Wednesday, 23 September 2009
Yesterday was my wee nephew's 2nd birthday - I can't believe he's 2 already! Where has the time gone?!
He loves loads of different characters (some I've never heard of!) But one of his favourites is Brum!
Here's my card
I used the sketch from this weeks Friday Sketchers
I found this digi stamp at Mo's Digital Pencil and thought it was perfect for him! I added the word "Brum" myself. And I coloured it with my trusty promarkers.
I stitched around each mat with my sewing machine.
It also fits the challenge at The Corrosive Challenge blog, which is to make a kids birthday card.
Papers are from the Basic Grey Cupcake paper pad. Sentiments are computer generated.
Here's the inside:
When Ryan tore the envelope off he was so excited to see Brum and tried to take it off the card!! Good thing I had done the decoupage the night before, so the glue gel was well and trully hardened!
I hope you liked it - thanks for dropping by!

Happy Birthday Da!
It was my Dad's birthday last friday, so I had a dreaded man's card to make!
I turned to my trusty Flippin' Men decoupage. I hardly ever use decoupage, so it was a nice change to use something different.
My da is big into golf, so I used the Golf Flippin' man - even though the character actually looks more like one of my dad's golfing friends!
Here is my card
I noticed on the Basic Grey Challenge that the current challenge is to add some embossing. I hope this counts as I actually flipped the embossed circle over to show the debossed side as I thought it looked more like a golf ball!
The Basic Grey papers I used are from the archaic paper pad.
Here's the inside with the back of the golfer:
I coloured the pint with a clear sakura stardust pen just to make it look like it's fizzing!
I hope you liked it - thanks for dropping by!

Just Magnolia
Thursday, 10 September 2009
The second card I made for my cousin is a little nicer!
I followed the gorgeous sketch by Mina at Just Magnolia...
Here is my card
I just love colouring Magnolia stamps! Again, I used my promarkers..
I made some flowers using 2 punches and a nestie and the same paper as the background. Sentiments were computer generated, and the Happy Birthday was then punched out with my tab punch from Stampin' Up!. Charm, brads and bits are all from stash. I can't remember who the paper was by - I'll check when I'm at my craft desk later (rather than my work desk now!)
