WOYWW 174

Thursday, 4 October 2012

OK, it's past midnight, so technically it's Thursday, but to me it's still Wednesday!

Before I get on to my WOYWW post I just want to thank everyone for your lovely wishes and sentiments to me here, on the forum and on Facebook about my accident.  I'm feeling a lot better aches and pains wise, apart from my shoulder which is still really sore, and I got the paper-stitches off my face this evening so I'm getting there slowly but surely!
I went to a concert (a seated one otherwise I don't think I could've gone) in the same venue we were supposed to be going to last week, so we got to finish our journey.  Felt a bit weird going past where the accident happened but good to get it done!

So, because of what happened on Thursday, I didn't get to do any crafting so my desk is pretty much un-changed from last week.

Just the lap-top has been added.  And I still need to use up the salvaged bits of t-shirt!

If you fancy joining in with the weekly nose around the world's creative spaces, then check out Julia's blog.

Thanks for looking!

Ah Sheena, so glad that you're in recovery mode..at least a little better from the time distance, the after shock is a bit horrid isn't it. And hope your shoulder isn't troubling you too much, it all takes time, for sure.

Oh sorry about your accident but glad you're on the mend! I don't know how you can ever get anything done with the computer and the tv there in your craft space lol! I have a tough enough time staying off the computer (oh let me go here and read about this technique, oh look at that stamp set, oh look..) but a tv, I'd be no good at all lol! Thanks for the visit!

Wow, Sheena, I just read your post about the accident--what an experience!! So glad you're recovering well, it will take a while to get over that shock.

(We really enjoyed Epcot, too, by the way--it was our favorite Disney place!)

Sounds like you had quite an accident. Even lesser accidents can jar you up quite a bit so don't feel bad resting and taking time for yourself. Can't wait to see what kinds of things you create on your desk.

Glad to hear you are recovering from the accident. It is a horrible thing to go through and a shock to the system. Hang in there and get better! Vickie #22

You and your brother are both soooo blessed! It could have been really bad judging by your description of your accident (which I just read about now). I am happy that you are recovering enough to go out and have a nice time. Patsy from

Hi Sheena, sorry to read of your accident and what a relief that you survived a roll like that. Many years ago now I was involved in a similar accident and was able to walk away with nothing more than bruises, recurring nightmares and vocal damage from screaming! I wish you a speedy recovery and a quick return to crafting. Elizabeth x #49
