Wow! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve blogged. I’ve been so busy getting invitations done for 2 weddings that I’ve been spending every spare minute on them. I’m delighted to say that all but 3 invitations are finished and sent off to their respective brides – I’m waiting on some info before I can get the last 3 finished.
Just the Orders of Service and place-names to do now.
I did take a little time off last weekend to go to Donegal in the wild west of Ireland for the weekend with my family.
I forgot my camera – shocking! So I pinched a few pics off my sister to show what I mean by wild!
We hired a house for the weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! I want to live there! Here it is
And here’s our back yard!
There were some really stunning views, it’s just a pity the weather wasn’t on our side
We didn’t get that lost, but we did pass this on our travels around the area!
Anyway, another wedding card from me.
I used the ever-so-cute bride and groom from LOTV, so I stuck with the cute theme.
Very little colouring to do on this image, but what colouring I did, I did it with my copics.
And I made it into a twisted easel card
I used papers from the Basic Grey Sugar Rush pad and I teamed it up with a big leaf vine that I cut with a sizzix die in my wee bug. I also used some very handy “Just the Edge” card strips – the pink scalloped edge, which I added some pearls to.
And a nice big pink bow to finish it off along with some florally bits and pieces.
The sentiment on the base is computer generated
And I added a pocket to the inside, which you can just see here
I’m entering this card into the following challenges;
