We set up a card swap especially for today on the Mad About Cards forum and we were each allocated a partner to swap a card and some goodies with. This is the card that I made...
It's always difficult to photograph an easel card, isn't it?!
Our cards were to fit an autumn theme and I thought this fairy from Charmed Cards and Crafts fitted that theme well. I coloured her with my copics in what I think of as autumnal colours.
The paper is from the Basic Grey Pyrus paper pad which is full of all lovely autumny colours! The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! "Best Yet" set. I thought the new "Crown Circles" nestie shape went well with the stamp and I added flowers and pearls from Wild Orchid Crafts. The skeleton leaves are from my stash.
I layered the frilly bit on the inside with ds tape on one side and foam pads on the upper end so the easel bit of the card had somthing to butt up to.
We also had to send each other a wee (suitably crafty) gift. I ended up making this to put it in..
I put some stamped images in with the tab to slide them out and stuck a wee box on the front for putting some ribbon and charms into..

My swap partner for the card was the amazingly talented Andria from Iona Rose Designs. Her card actually arrived through my door on Tuesday and it took all my willpower not to open it until today!

She added a pouch to the inside for some goodies!
And she also included this gorgeous tag as October is breast cancer awareness month
